Asura's Wrath features many hidden easter eggs found in the illustrated interludes that play out before a story episode. Each interlude is made up of several illustrations accompanied by a narration of events, and several of these images has cameos from Capcom characters in them. These cameos are hidden outside the visible screen and the player needs to scroll the image around manually (by using the Left Joystick (PlayStation)/Stick (Xbox) on their controlled) in order to see them.

With a few exceptions, these interactions are considered Type 1 links since the actual characters can be seen interacting in the scene depicted on each art piece, even if only as minor background events. Still, none of these cameos are considered canonical to the story of Asura's Wrath or of the series represented.

Interlude Character depicted Description
Asuras wrath ptx-40A
Episode 1, page 1
PTX-40A from Lost Planet Scroll the image to the lower-right side to see the large mecha PTX-40A heating up as it's reentering Earth from space.
Asuras wrath yashichi
Episode 2, page 1
Yashichi from Vulgus Scroll the image to the right to see Capcom's Yashichi icon as part of the wall painting in the artwork. This can be considered a Type 2 link as well, since the Yashichi appears as a depiction in art.
Asuras wrath mobichan
Episode 4, page 3
Mobi-chan from Side Arms Scroll the image to the right side to see a small Mobi-chan standing next to Augus' large fist.
Asuras wrath sagat
Episode 10, page 1
Sagat from Street Fighter Scroll the image to the top-right corner to see Sagat performing a Tiger Uppercut upon a Doji Soldier.
Asuras wrath amaterasu
Episode 10, page 2
Amaterasu and Issun from Ōkami Scroll the image to the lower-mid area to see Amaterasu and Issun standing next to the grinning soldier and the three zombie-like enemies.

Episode 10, page 3
Melynx from Monster Hunter Scroll the image to the bottom right corner to see a Melynx cat from Monster Hunter lying on its belly atop a cliff, right behind the other characters lying at the edge of the cliff.
Asuras wrath blanka
Episode 14, page 1
A Blanka toy from Street Fighter Scroll the image to the lower-right corner to see a little Blanka figurine in the ground, next to the mirror. As this is only a toy of the character, this is a Type 2 link.
Asuras wrath dhalsim
Episode 15, page 1
Dhalsim from Street Fighter Scroll the image to the left side to see two soldiers behind a windows imitating one of Dhalsim's punches and his Drill Kick special move.

A few more cameos were included in the epilogue for the game's DLC final Episode 22, which is structured like the interludes. Three more easter eggs can be found in the pictures, all Type 2 link.

There's also a character heavily resembling Chun-Li from Street Fighter in page 3 of the epilogue. Although it could be considered an easter egg, since it is doesn't follow the same elements of the hidden easter eggs on this list (the character is front and center and is not in the background) it is not listed here.

Interlude Character depicted Description
Asuras wrath felyne
Episode 22, page 4
Felyne from Monster Hunter Scroll the image to the lower right corner to see a sign in one of the buildings featuring the Felyne, cat-like companions from Monster Hunter.
Asuras wrath grafitti
Episode 22, page 5
Ryu from Street Fighter and Mega Man from the classic series Scroll the image to the right to see a cartoonish graffiti art in the brick wall depicting Ryu punching Asura. There's also a flyer for Mega Man at the top, depicting him in his 8-bit sprite.
