The Satellaview remake of The Legend of Zelda features the player's avatar from BS-X: Sore wa Namae o Nusumareta Machi no Monogatari instead of Link as the hero. This means that, like in that game, the player's character can either be male or female in BS Zelda no Densetsu.

This game also eatures improved graphics, new gameplay elements, and redesigned maps, with the story is unchanged, however an introduction was addeded showing the male avatar going to a fortune-teller and entering a door leading to Hyrule.

BS-X: Sore wa Namae o Nusumareta Machi no Monogatari5Arrow R Zelda

BS The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets, unlike the previous game, which was a remake of the original Zelda, is considered a separate game only based on A Link to the Past, since it features a totally different story, taking place six years after it (the same amount of time between the Japanese releases of both games), when the spirit of Ganon returns to threaten Hyrule. Once again the player's character is one of the two avatars from BS-X: Sore wa Namae o Nusumareta Machi no Monogatari, that is again shown in the introduction to enter a fortune teller's house, ending up in Hyrule. This time is said that Link is been missing, and this is considered by some to be a reference to him being on a training journey after defeating Ganon, as told in Link's Awakening's backstory (and later shown in Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons).
