Captain Falcon, the main character of the series.

F-Zero is a series of futuristic racing video games created by Nintendo.

Main games

  • F-Zero (November 21, 1990), Super Famicom/SNES. Released for Wii Virtual Console in 2006, for Wii U Virtual Console in 2013 and for New 3DS Virtual Console in 2016.
  • F-Zero X (July 14, 1998), Nintendo 64. Released in 2007 for Wii Virtual Console.
  • F-Zero: Maximum Velocity (March 21, 2001), Game Boy Advance. Released for Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console in 2011 and for Wii U Virtual Console in 2014.
  • F-Zero GX (July 25, 2003), GameCube.
  • F-Zero: GP Legend (November 28, 2003), Game Boy Advance. Game taking elements from the anime, it was released for Wii U Virtual Console in 2014.
  • F-Zero Climax (October 21, 2004), Game Boy Advance. Only released in Japan (the first episode to not be released worldwide other than the ones on Japan-exclusive consoles Satellaview and Nintendo 64DD).

A 51 episode anime based on the series and titled F-Zero GP Legend was released with the original run lasting from October 7, 2003 to September 28, 2004.

Merchandise

A set of toy cars based on the vehicles from the F-Zero GP Legend anime were released in 2003.
