Fatal Fury is a fighting game series by SNK.

Video games

The released games are:

  • Fatal Fury: King of Fighters (November 25, 1991), Neo Geo. Later ported to SNES, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Sharp X68000, Neo Geo CD, Wii Virtual Console and PSN.
  • Fatal Fury 2 (December 10, 1992), Neo Geo. Later ported to SNES, Sharp X68000, PC Engine CD, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Game Boy and Wii Virtual Console.
  • Fatal Fury Special (September 16, 1993), Neo Geo. Later ported to Neo Geo CD, Sharp X68000, SNES, Game Geat, PC Engine CD, Mega CD/Sega CD, FM Towns and Wii Virtual Console.
  • Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory (March 27, 1995), Neo Geo, Neo Geo CD. Later ported to Sega Saturn, PC and Wii Virtual Console.
  • Real Bout Fatal Fury (December 21, 1995), Neo Geo, Neo Geo CD. Later ported to Sega Saturn, PlayStation, PSN and Wii Virtual Console.
  • Real Bout Fatal Fury Special (January 28, 1997), Neo Geo, Neo Geo CD. Later ported to Sega Saturn, Game Boy, PlayStation, PSN and Wii Virtual Console.
  • Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers (March 20, 1998), Neo Geo, Neo Geo CD. Later ported to Wii Virtual Console.
  • Real Bout Garou Densetsu Special: Dominated Mind (June 25, 1998), PlayStation. Later also available for PSN.
  • Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition (January 28, 1999), Arcade, PlayStation. Later also available for PSN.
  • Fatal Fury: 1st Contact (April 30, 1999), Neo Geo Pocket Color.
  • Garou: Mark of the Wolves (November 11, 1999), Neo Geo. Later also ported for DreamCast, PlayStation 2, Xbox Live Arcade, iOS, Android, PSN, PC.

Two compilations were also released:

  • Fatal Fury Battle Archives Volume 1 (2006), PlayStation 2. Including Fatal Fury, Fatal Fury 2, Fatal Fury Special, and Fatal Fury 3.
  • Fatal Fury Battle Archives Volume 2 (2007), PlayStation 2. Including Real Bout Fatal Fury, Real Bout Fatal Fury Special and Real Bout Fatal Fury 2.

Other media

Three animated movies were released based on the series were released:

  • Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf (December 23, 1992)
  • Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle (July 31, 1993)
  • Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture (July 16, 1994)

Various comic books based on the series were also published.
