In the "Grow Wario Grow" microgame, Wario appear with his Wario Land look, as the game is based on another Game Boy game, Super Mario Land.
Also, in the "Produce Pandemonium" microgame, Wario is driving the Wario Car from Wario Land 4.
Both these microgames are found in the "Anything Goes" category.
Additionally the mini-game Paper Plane features a remix of the Curious Factory theme from Wario Land 4.

During Wario's intro clip, the music box from Wario Land 3 can be seen. Also on the wall there's a picture of the Golden Pyramid from Wario Land 4.

One of 9-Volt & 18-Volt's microgames is based on Wario Land. In this microgame the player has to raise the Wii Remote (using the "Boxer" form) to lift a Pirate Goom enemy and then swing to throw it. The object is to kill other enemies, destroy blocks or, in Level 3, protect from a falling enemy.

18-Volt's microgame "Wario Land" is based on Wario Land 4 and has the player controlling Wario by pressing A to make him do a dash attack. The objective is to destroy all stone block and defeat the Spear Mask enemy.

One of 18 Volt's microgames in the Twist League is based on Wario Land 3. The player controls Bubble Wario and must travel up a water current to collect a Musical Coin while avoiding spikes. At higher levels there are more spikes.
