The Puzzle Swap minigame in StreetPass Mii Plaza features 11 puzzles based on the Mario series. These are:

  • Mario and Bowser: a trophy depicting Mario, Bowser and, behind them, Luigi, it's not based on any specific Mario game, and it comes pre-installed with the game.
  • Super Mario Galaxy 2: Mario riding Yoshi, based on the cover of Super Mario Galaxy 2. It comes pre-installed with the game.
  • New Super Mario Bros. Wii: an image of the selectable characters from the game, based on its cover. It comes pre-installed with the game.
  • Super Mario 3D Land: an image based on the cover of the game. Added with the December 2011 Spotpass update.
  • Mario Kart 7: an image of Mario, Luigi and Peach racing. the cover of the game. Added with the December 2011 Spotpass update.
  • Mario Tennis Open: an image of Mario and Peach playing tennis. Added with the April 2012 Spotpass update.
  • New Super Mario Bros. 2: an image based on the cover of the game. Added with the August 2012 Spotpass update.
  • Nintendo Starlets: an image of Peach, Rosalina, Pauline, Zelda and Toon Zelda. Added with the June-July 2013 Spotpass update.
  • New SUPER MARIO BROS. U + New SUPER LUIGI U: an image based on the cover of the game. Added with the June-July 2013 Spotpass update.
  • Mario & Luigi: Dream Team: an image featuring many characters from the game. Added with the July 2013 Spotpass update.
  • SUPER MARIO 3D WORLD: an image based on the cover of the game. Added with the February 2014 Spotpass update.

Additionally StreetPass Mii Plaza features 41 unlockable outfits for Miis based on the Mario series. These are specifically:

  • Mario's Cap, found in Find Mii on the first visit in Fort of Summoning.
  • Luigi's Cap, found in Find Mii on the second visit in Fort of Summoning.
  • Bowser Hat, found in Find Mii on the second visit in Mirage Tower.
  • Toad Hat, found in Find Mii on the second visit in Mirage Tower - 1F.
  • Yoshi Hat, found in Find Mii II on the first visit in Perilous Prairie - Entrance.
  • Shy Guy Mask, found in Find Mii II on the first visit in Ominous Shrine.
  • Peach's Crown, found in Find Mii II on the second visit in Perilous Prairie - Entrance.
  • Wario's Cap, found in Find Mii II on the second visit in Castle of Darkness - Sky Tower.
  • Boo Hat, found in Find Mii II on the third visit in Perilous Prairie - Entrance.
  • Warp Pipe Hat, found in Find Mii II - Secret Quest on the first visit in Perilous Prairie - Entrance.
  • ? Block Hat, found in Find Mii II - Secret Quest on the first visit in Shrine of Judgment.
  • Blooper Hat, found in Find Mii II - Secret Quest on the first visit in Diabolical Altar - East.
  • Piranha Plant, found in Find Mii II - Secret Quest on the first visit in Castle of Darkness - Throne Room.
  • Daisy's Crown, found in Find Mii II - Secret Quest on the second visit in Perilous Prairie - Entrance.
  • Light-Blue Yoshi Hat, found in Find Mii II - Secret Quest on the second visit in Shrine of Shadows - East.
  • Chomp Hat, found in Find Mii II - Secret Quest on the second visit in Shrine of Judgement.
  • Pink Yoshi Hat, found in Find Mii II - Secret Quest on the second visit in Perilous Peak - West.
  • Waluigi's Cap, found in Find Mii II - Secret Quest on the second visit in Castle of Darkness - Sky Tower.
  • Yellow Yoshi Hat, found in Find Mii II - Secret Quest on the third visit in Perilous Prairie - Entrance.
  • Super Mushroom Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the first day.
  • 1-Up Mushroom Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the first day.
  • Fire Flower, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the first day.
  • Super Star Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the first day.
  • Mario Costume, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the eighth day.
  • Red Shell Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the eighth day.
  • Luigi Costume, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the eighth day.
  • Green Shell Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the eighth day.
  • Goomba Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the eleventh day.
  • Spiny Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the eleventh day.
  • Lakitu Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the eleventh day.
  • Cheep Cheep Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the eleventh day.

  • Peach's Castle Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the thirtheenth day.
  • Tanooki Suit, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the eighteenth day.
  • Bowser's Airship Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the eighteenth day.
  • Kitsune Suit, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the twentieth day.
  • Goal Tower Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the twentieth day.
  • POW Block Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the twentieth day.
  • Wiggler Hat, obtainable in Streetpass Exchange Booth on the twentieth day.
  • Pixel Mario Hat, given for free with the Ver. 3.0/3.1 upgrade.

Note that Yoshi outfits can actually be considered based on the Yoshi series.
