For detailed information about this series, see: Mario vs. Donkey Kong at Super Mario Wiki

Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a series of platform/puzzle videogames by Nintendo, and it's a sub-series of both the Mario and Donkey Kong series, therefore serving as a crossover between the two.

The original Mario vs. Donkey Kong game was created as a sequel to Game Boy Donkey Kong, so that Game Boy game is sometimes considered part of the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series as well.

The actual games in the series are:

  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong (May 24, 2004), Game Boy Advance.
  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis (September 25, 2006), Nintendo DS.
  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! (June 8, 2009), Nintendo DSiWare.
  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem (November 14, 2010), Nintendo DS.
  • Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move (May 9, 2013), Nintendo 3DS.
  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars (March 5, 2015), Wii U, Nintendo 3DS.
  • Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge (January 28, 2016), Nintendo 3DS, Wii U.

Note that the fifth and seventh games in the series are not titled "vs. Donkey Kong", but they're still officially considered part of the series, since they still star Mario and Donkey kong and feature the same gameplay elements.
