Octopus is a videogame released by Nintendo in the Game & Watch Wide Screen series on July 16, 1981. In 1998 it was re-released in the Mini Classics series.
Additionally it was included in Game & Watch Gallery, released for Game Boy on April 27, 1995, in Game & Watch Gallery Advance, released for the Game Boy Advance on October 25, 2002, and in Game & Watch Collection 2, released for Nintendo DS on December 15, 2008. While all three include a "Classic" version of the game, loyal to the original, the two Game & Watch Gallery also include a "Modern" version, with updated gameplay and graphics featuring Mario characters. Game & Watch Collection 2 however features a special mode called Parachute × Octopus, including elements from Parachute.
