A Luffy

Luffy, the main character of the series

One Piece is a manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda and serialized by Shueisha.

The story follows the Straw Hat Pirates, led by Monkey D. Luffy, a man with the property of rubber after unintentionally eating a type of Devil Fruit, which are known for permanently granting their eaters superhuman powers and an equally permanent inability to swim in the sea. Luffy and his crew set sail on the Grand Line to find the legendary pirate Gol D. Roger's treasure known as the One Piece, in order to become the next King of the Pirates.
