Pokémon Stadium Gold Silver, known outside Japan as Pokémon Stadium 2, features a Game Boy compatibility that allows to bring "Mistery Gift" items from Pokémon Gold, Silver and Crystal in to the game. These are decorations for the player's character room and include NES, SNES, Virtual Boy and Nintendo 64 consoles. When connecting one of these consoles (except for the Virtual Boy), the TV will show an image from a Nintendo game for that console, and for the NES one of the possible games shown is Donkey Kong, and precisely the 25m level is shown.

The Japanese version of the game features the japanese theme song from the Pokémon Advanced Generations animated series as one of the playable tracks

In the North American release it was replaced by the American theme song of the Pokémon animated series.

The European version doesn't include any song from the Pokémon series, possibly because of the animated series featuring different theme songs for each spoken language in European countries where the series aired.

See here for other songs featured in the game.

The Japanese version of the game features "Challenger!!", opening theme #2 from Pokémon Advanced Generation as one of the playable tracks. It's listed in the "Anime" section and its difficulty level is 6.

It was replaced in the European version of the game with a remix of the main theme from Pokémon games.
