  • Shinobi (November, 1987), Arcade. Later also released for Sega Master System, Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, NES, PC Engine, Wii Virtual Console, XLA.
  • Shadow Dancer (November, 1989), Arcade. Later also released for Sega Master System, Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum.
  • Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi (December 1, 1990), Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. A remake of Shadow Dancer, also later released for PC and Wii Virtual Console.
  • The Super Shinobi/ Revenge of Shinobi (December 2, 1989), Sega Master System/Genesis. Known outside Japan as The Revenge of Shinobi, later also released for Wii Virtual Console, PSN and XLA.
  • The Cyber Shinobi (1990), Sega Master System. Also known as Shinobi Part 2.
  • Alex Kidd in Shinobi World (1990), Sega Master System. A crossover with the Alex Kidd series, re-released for Wii Virtual Console in 2009.
  • The G.G. Shinobi (April 26, 1991), Game Gear. Simply known as Shinobi outside Japan.
  • The G.G. Shinobi II (December 11, 1992), Game Gear. Known as Shinobi II: The Silent Fury outside Japan.
  • The Super Shinobi II (July 22, 1993), Sega Mega Drive. Known outside Japan as Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, re-released for Wii Virtual Console in 2007.
  • Shin Shinobi Den (June 30, 1995), Sega Saturn. Called Shinobi X in Europe and Shinobi Legions in North America.
  • The Revenge of Shinobi (November 19, 2002), Game Boy Advance.
  • Shinobi (November 10, 2002), PlayStation 2. Re-released in 2012 for PSN.
  • Kunoichi (December 4, 2003), PlayStation 2. Known as Nightshade outside Japan.
  • Shinobi (November 11, 2011), Nintendo 3DS. Called Shinobi 3D in Japan.
