SSBB cast

Super Smash Bros. Brawl's complete cast of characters excluding the "transformation" characters Zero Suit Samus and Sheik.

Super Smash Bros. is a fighting videogame series by Nintendo, featuring charachters, places and items from various Nintendo series, thus serving as a crossover between them. Five (four if you count the last two as not separate) games have been released:
  • Super Smash Bros. (January 21, 1999), Nintendo 64.
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee (November 21, 2001), GameCube.
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl (January 31, 2008), Wii.
  • Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS (September 13, 2014), 3DS.
  • Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (November 21, 2014), Wii U.

The games also feature some original characters, such as the boss Master Hand and the LCD-style character Mr. Game & Watch, as well as elements from third party series.

A series of amiibo figures based on all 58 characters from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and for Nintendo 3DS was released in 13 waves between November 21, 2014 and July 21, 2017. Four of these came in two separate versions (R.O.B., Cloud, Bayonetta, Corrin), for a total of 62 different figures. Also the Mr. Game and Watch amiibo, while receiving one single release, it includes four different swappable poses for the character.

Links to other series

Note: characters, places, items and helpers (pokémons and assist trophies) appearing in the series create an in-universe link because they directly interact with the games' universe; trophies and stickers create a sub-universe link because their series are supposed to only exist as fictional within the games' universe; music tracks create an out-universe link, because the game's music is supposed to only be heard by the player and doesn't actually appear in the games' universe.

Mascot link: Miis are selectable characters and enemies in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and for Wii U.
